Michael Jackson Researcher Lisa D. Campbell Releases Third Book on The King of Pop-Offers Definitive Account of Superstar’s Life and Legacy

Phoenix, Arizona – Longtime Michael Jackson researcher Lisa D. Campbell has just released her third book, Michael Jackson: The Complete Story of the King of Pop.  Campbell has studied the life of Michael Jackson for over 30 years and is now releasing the definitive account of his life and career, following his life through his tragic loss and the aftermath of his death.

From the dingy town of Gary, Indiana to the heartbreaking farewell days before he was to stage the comeback of all comebacks, Michael Jackson: The Complete Story of the King of Pop tells the story of the rise and fall and rise again of the greatest entertainer in history.  Besides detailing his success in music and dance, his philanthropic endeavors are explored revealing his other true passion, helping the sick and suffering of the world and the Earth itself.  Also offered is an in-depth examination of the accusations of child molestation made against Michael Jackson in 1993 and 2003 and the resulting “Trial of the Century”.   The shocking news of his passing and the unprecedented global response

is recounted; the tragic news nearly bringing the internet to its knees as widespread grief reached every corner of the globe.  The aftermath of his death centered on three key questions, “What happened, why is he dead?”, “What about his assets and mounting debt?” And most importantly, “Who will care for his children?”  Continuing the story, new deals and contracts entered into by the trustees of his estate set new records in the music industry, ensuring Michael Jackson’s legacy will continue and his immeasurable contributions to music will always be remembered.  Dr. Conrad Murray stands trial and is convicted of manslaughter in the death of Michael Jackson.  His children are cared for by Michael’s beloved mother, Katherine.

Campbell’s previous publications on Jackson, Michael Jackson: The King of Pop and Michael Jackson: The King of Pop’s Darkest Hour, met with an overwhelming response from Jackson himself, acknowledging her work personally and thanking her in the liner notes of his HIStory album.  This new book combines these two efforts, which have been edited and re-written, and completes the story of the greatest entertainer in history in a fashion not seen in the other many publications on Jackson.  Available through major online retailers in hardback, paperback, and coming soon on e-book formats.

Campbell, a native of Michigan, now resides in Phoenix, Arizona.  An avid attendee of Jackson’s concerts and personal appearances, she possesses a considerable collection of Jackson memorabilia and an extensive Jackson video and print library.

  1. Much anticipated book! If Michael, himself, was impressed with her work, you can feel assured that there will be nothing questionable. This lady did her research and knew him firsthand. Looking forward to your interview with her!

  2. I am nearly done with the book and I just love it. It is surely one of the best books written about Michael and for me some kind of light compared to the work of Mr. Randall Sullivan. We need more such books. But books like this one don’t get much media attention and promotion.
